This year, many of our students are learning remotely, but the New York State Education Department (NYSED) has required that exams still take place in-person at the school. It is imperative that you let us know if you would like your child to participate in this year’s State exam. If you have not done so yet and would like your child to participate or not participate in this year’s State exams, please notify us by completing the testing survey by Wednesday, April 14th.For more information about this year’s exams, please read the letter attached.
The Harold O. Levy School 52 will be offering a Summer Enrichment Program this summer 2021. We would love to hear your input. We are excited to meet with you again, and also see new faces this Tuesday afternoon during our parent session titled "Supporting Families in Navigating Remote Learning for Multilingual Learners."
During this workshop, we will explore useful resources to support your child as a multilingual learner during blended and remote learning. Participants will walk away with a deeper understanding of how to support their students at home. They will also learn where to find a multitude of free-of-charge resources and ideas in the service of our Multilingual Learners.
